Watch the youtube recording here: https://youtu.be/tM4sM63GuwU Join us for a conversation with two exhibiting artists - Siva Sai Jeevanantham and Sridhar Balasubramanium moderated by co-curator Bhooma Padmanabhan. They will speak about their individual practices and the works showcased at the biennale. Currently being showcased at Forum Art Gallery as part of CPB Edition 3, ‘In The Same River’ by Siva Sai Jeevanantham charts the journey of photographs from being a personal symbol to being an act of resistance in a political landscape. Showcasing subtle gestures and postures of the body shot alongside natural forms and hand-made objects, ‘Space Between Us’ by Sridhar Balasubramanium provokes us to think of the growing disconnection between our lives and our land.

Tobias Zielony photographs the lives of marginalized youth at the cusp of adulthood. Titled ‘Haus der Jugend’ (which translates as House of Youth), Zielony’s work showcases a series of photographs selected from the artist’s archives, taken between 1997 to 2005 in the artist's hometown (Wuppertal, Germany). The work is named after the building where it was first shown, which previously housed a club that Zielony himself frequented as a young adult.
